Born Invercargill, New Zealand.
Was principal of the New Zealand Training Institute for 20 years, director of China Inland Mission (now Overseas Missionary Fellowship) and was also principal of the Christian Leadership Training Centre, PNG. Author of more than 40 Christian books.
