Williams, Frank

LIsten

From The Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. Now Burnie, Tasmania. Fellowships at the Romaine Park Christian Centre.

Francis Williams, known as Frank, was commended in NSW in 1978 to the ministry of pastoral caring in nursing homes in the Blue Mountains, where about 1,000 residents were in care. He did this for seven years, then spent ten years establishing the Pastoral Care Department at Nepean Hospital, Penrith. These years resulted in post-traumatic stress disorder and he is now helping with City Kitchen, in Burnie, on the roster to help prepare meals, serving in a needy area. He speaks at two nursing homes at their chapel services, assemblies and another church. He also has a great burden for the people of Western Samoa, which he has visited several times.
